Dying Processed hair?

(I didn't think the hair color section would know or respond as frequently, and it's a weave question anyway)
Will box permanent dye dye processed Indian hair (kinky-curly)? I know it will for virgin hair , , , Like at all? Someone help, thanks.

Is it processed for color as well as texture? Box dye will dye processed hair but if the hair has already been colored it'll be a little more difficult to achieve the color you want.
I know you didn't ask but the only box dyes I'll ever use again are 1, Wella and 2, Clairol Professional, I've had great success with both of these, especially wella.

You can dye processed hair (even hair that's been colored previously) without damaging it, If it's been colored before you'll have a harder time gauging the color is all.
You have to watch the hair to make sure it isn't overprocessing (which can happen if you use bleach), But honestly, I haven't had any problems with box dyes on my weave, I just dyed some processed curls with no problems.
It's imperative that you give the hair a good deep condition afterward, Processed hair has a tendency to dry easily so just make sure it's properly moisturized and it'll be ok,

^^ The hair is only processed for texture, the color is the same, the default darkest brown, I bought some Clairol Textures & Tones (blazing burgundy) in hopes of dying my natural hair and the weave somewhat of the same color, Will I need a stronger developer than what is in the box for the weave?

Technically there's no such thing as "ammonia free" hair color, It's true the product may not have actual ammonia but it has another chemical in it that does the exact same thing, It's necessary for the process to work.
I've never tried colorsilk so I can't really comment on the quality,
