Should I relax before my sew-in?

Should I relax before my sew-in? I'm getting a sew-in and I think I may go for the partial sew-in and leave some of my hair out in the front. I'm undecided as of now as to whether I'll get a full sew-in or a partial. Nevertheless, its been a month since my last touch up. Its starting to show around my edges. Should I get a full-head relaxer or just relax the front? Are there any adverse effects to relaxing before a sew-in?

No, your hair is delicate after it has been relaxed. You could do a sew in and relax the hair that is being left out to blend. Another option might be to relax the hair and wait two weeks to get the sew in.

I normally perm only my leave out hair. Everything else is natural
